Tunnel Pipe Repair We Just Finished!
We want to take the time to show you a tunnel pipe repair we just finished. Once we do a video camera inspection and locate the exact area of the break or leak in the pipe, we are now able to excavate an access hole. This measures approximately 3 feet by 5 feet on the outside edge of the foundation and then a horizontal tunnel that measures 3 feet by 3 feet to the effected area that requires the repair. Once we have repaired the pipes we will have it inspected by the city municipality inspector, in the city in which we are working, and once approved we will then run a 2 inch PVC fill pipe and a 2 inch PVC Vent Pipe to each cavity underneath the foundation to which we have excavated. We will then fill the 3 foot by 5 foot access hole, on the exterior of the perimeter of the foundation, with existing dirt and then use the PVC Pump Lines to pump in a Flowable Fill Slury Mix. This consists of a mixutre of sand, flyash and cement. We then pump into the cavities underneath the foundation. Our customers are always happy about our tunnel pipe repair.
